Among her qualifications, Mrs Moulon-Atherley possesses a Diploma in Professional Legal Studies (Dip.L.S.) from Griffith College Dublin, (GCD) Ireland; An Honours Bachelor of Law (LL.B Honours - JD equivalent) degree jointly awarded by Nottingham Trent University (NTU), United Kingdom, and the Higher Education and Training Awards Council of Ireland (HETAC); A Master of Laws in Intellectual Property (LLM) from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland; The Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Hugh Wooding Law School (HWLS), Trinidad and Tobago. She also holds a diploma (CAPA equivalent) from the Ecole de Formation Professionnelle des Avocats des Barreaux (EFB) de la Cour d’Appel de Paris.

Additionally, she's also taken the online MBA in one course and introductory courses in investment banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, IPOs, Financial Modelling, etc. with an Award-winning MBA Professor at Stanford University and who is, equally, a Venture Capitalist and former Goldman Sachs employee.

Professional Experience


Selected types of engagements* in which Mrs Moulon-Atherley has been involved in intellectual and industrial property licensing, investment, finance, acquisitions and mergers with global investors and industrial partners include:

  • Lead Attorney financing in the capital markets to include investment advisory, financial structuring, etc.

  • Lead Attorney in acquisition of assets from US vendor to include, inter alia, trade sanctions and regulations,  financial law and regulations, IP license and registration.

  • Lead Attorney in a fund raiser in the FinTech, Cryptocurrency & Blockchain industries including advice on anti-money laundering, US securities regulation to include structuring, licensing & other agreements and successful re-negotiation of an existing financial commitment. 

  • Lead Attorney in investment advisory for the creation and capitalisation of a fund including EU/US securities rules and applying EU/US data transfer provisions.

  • Lead Attorney in the acquisition of licenses in the oil and gas industry.

  • Attorney in financial structuring in various public-private partnerships including licensing of technology and compliance.

  • Lead Attorney in a monetary commercial transaction including advisory as it applies to trade sanctions, anti-money laundering, cybersecurity and sovereign assets issues.

  • Lead Attorney in asset acquisition matters including advisory as it applies to trade sanctions, anti-money laundering, asset registration and licensing.

  • Lead Attorney in commodities and banking instruments to include structuring advice, anti-money laundering procedures, etc.

  • Lead Attorney in FCPA - UKBA - Sapin 2 compliance matters

  • Lead Attorney in Privacy Shield and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Her international exposure and extensive travelling have exposed her to some of the riches of life which she uses in her innovative business approach.


Mrs Moulon-Atherley is married with three adult children. In her spare time, Mrs Moulon-Atherley enjoys the opera, the arts, the museum, music, entertainment, shopping, travelling and spending time with her family. She is the first English-Caribbean born lawyer who has been admitted to practice Law as an Avocat à la Cour in France and Europe. She is also the first to hold the joint titles of Attorney at Law, New York Bar, OECS & CARICOM Bars & Avocat à la Cour, France and Europe Bars.

Finally, being a Commonwealth-admitted Attorney (the English-speaking Caribbean islands - OECS & CARICOM) she is also eligible to handle cases in any of the courts of the English-speaking Caribbean countries and in any of the courts of the countries of the Commonwealth.
